Physician Assistant, Emily Buchholz
Emily grew up in Pittsford, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Emily lived in Texas for five years, where she worked at a Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for one year and then at Children's Medical Center in Dallas for two years before entering PA school. She received her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Emily joined Plant City Pediatrics in 2005. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Emily, her husband Kenny and 3 children, currently reside in Lakeland, FL. 

Chandra R. Williams, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Chandra was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.. She has worked at community heath centers in Baltimore, MA, Orangeburg, SC, and Bradenton, FL. She has been a clinical preceptor for health care professional students as well as pediatric and family practice residents. Most recently she was with Sun Coast Hospital/Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida. She briefly ran a private practice in Bradenton but was happy to join the Plant City Pediatrics team. She currently lives in Brandon with her husband, daughter, and son (who has Autism) She is very active in her church in Bradenton and in her spare time likes to start craft projects (by her own admission rarely finishing them).
Timothy Williams is a native of Bradenton, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in science education from the University of South Florida and a Master of Education degree from the University of Central Florida. Before medical school Dr. Williams taught physics, chemistry, earth/space science and anatomy/physiology at Clermont High School in Clermont, Florida for three years. He received his medical degree from Nova-Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in May of 1993. Dr. Williams completed his Pediatric Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas in June of 1996. He then completed his United States Army obligation at Ft Knox, KY. While serving at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Ft Knox, KY, he was twice awarded the Army Achievement Medal. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P). 
Dr. Williams has been practicing since 1993. He and his wife have lived in Plant City since 1998 and have five children. He attends New Hope Worship Center in Plant City.

Emily Zink, APRN
Emily Zink was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She worked as a registered nurse at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa before going on to earn a Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania. During this time she worked as a registered nurse at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. After finishing her graduate program, Emily moved home to Tampa and joined the team at Plant City Pediatrics. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Nurses Association. In her free time she enjoys doing yoga, riding her bike, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. 
​Brandy Garcia, APRN
Brandy Garcia-Ashe was born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida. She joined the military soon after graduation, where she served in the United States Army for 8 years where she became an OEF Veteran. She received her Master's in Nursing at the University of South Florida, with a focus in Pediatrics. Brandy has an extensive history in pediatrics, working as a Registered Nurse at Brandon Regional Hospital with newborns, St. Joseph Woman's Hospital in their NICU, and Lawnwood Regional Hospital in their PICU/NICU and as part of their pediatric transport team. Brandy has been local to the Tampa Bay area for the past 11 years, where she currently resides with her husband, and their three children. Brandy is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, She is bilingual-fluent in spanish. In her spare time, Brandy enjoys running, trying out new restaurants, being a Mom (dog Mom included), and spending time with her family. 
Hernando Valero was born in Orlando, Florida. He moved with his parents to Colombia where he grew up and attended Medical School. After successfully completing his medical degree he practiced medicine in several Emergency Rooms in Bogota, Colombia. After this he became a Medical Officer and fulfilled his duties in several explorer cruise ships. This allowed him to travel and practice medicine in different parts of the world like the Amazon, Caribbean, Antarctica, the Artic and Europe. After moving with his wife to the United States, he changed careers and completed the nursing program from Keiser University in Tampa, Florida. After this, he obtained his Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at West Coast University and is currently completing his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree also at West Coast University. He has completed these programs while working at Plant City Pediatrics. He is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, member of the Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Societies. He currently lives with his wife and son in Brandon, Florida and in his free time likes to cook, travel, and take photographs.
